Once fabulous way of doing this is betting correctly. This No Limit Holdem lesson is going to teach you how to always bet the correct amount to maximize your profits at the poker table.
No Limit Holdem Lesson On Betting Correctly #1
The first lesson on betting correctly is with pre-flop betting. First, you need to maintain the same or a similar pre-flop bet no matter which cards you have. Do not vary your pre-flop bet.
This conceals the hand you have because you are betting the same no matter if you have good or bad cards. Varying your pre-flop bet gives too much away.

Next, with your post-flop bets, you too need to vary these, but in a different way. You will need to bet depending on the size of the pot. So if there was a lot of action pre-flop and the pot is big you'll need to raise more to "mean" the same as if you were raising a little when no one really bet pre-flop.
The easiest way to do this is to raised in relation to the pot size. So raise a full pot, or raise a half pot. Don't make the mistake of raising compared to the big blind the whole game.
No Limit Holdem Lesson On Betting Correctly #3
Now, betting lesson number three has to do with the late game. By now, if you've got a good hand and have been playing, raising, etc, you'll have quite a few chips in the pot.
The important thing is to never ever commit more than 30% of your whole stack to the pot unless you are ready to go all-in with your hand. That's because, generally, most cards and odds etc depict that once you have 30% of your stack in the pot you are practically forced (by pot odds) to go all-in.
So be wary you don't put in too many chips and find half your stack in the pot...
